Just to link to anyone looking in this section who wants to gain some experience then check out 'North East' rides. I'll be running some Green runs welcoming any riders who want to get out and about at a steady pace.

Like others have said, Andy, great idea and good on yer. We're definitely short of green and amber ride leaders over this way.

im up for some green/amber runs, stanley isnt too far from me either, and sunderland isnt too much of a trek

Be useful to know what you guys are riding and how long you been biking. As the thread says it's for all comers who want a ride out at a steady pace, i.e. within the speed limits, so let me know if that suits you.

im on a silver and gold kwak ER6f (saw me at the last monthly meet bass) been biking for about 20months now, but had this bike for 4 weeks now, so a speed limit/just above limit would be fine
