A friend and I have just done a full days training with Mike Alder who is a retired ex police advanced motorcycle instructor for Durham, Cumbria & North Yorks forces. He operates Bikewise Training with another ex advanced motorcycle instructor Bob.

I went into this course today thinking I wouldn't really learn much from the day as im a reasonabaly confident, rider (ok,  I get a bit of red mist from time to time, don't we all??  ) with 20+ years of riding bikes on the road, but boy how wrong I was!!

Things such as hazard awarness and road positioning have suddenly became very much more into focus than ever before.. I used to see hazards!!!  all the time, but I never really did much about them as you kind of switch off,  and I would only really notice them if say, you spot a car at a junction then move across the road slightly to give yourself more space.

Kind of hard to explain on here what I have gained, suffice to say for the piddling little sum of money I have forked out im now a much more observant rider than 24hrs ago, which could very easily help save my life!!

Anyway there an absolutally first class outfit, and if you live in Co Durham ( and say your new to biking) it only costs £35 Otherwise its £75 each for two people ( you dont have to live in Durham for that one)

110% recomended
